Useful Information for Societies

- Make sure everyone knows the correct address, date and time of your society meeting.
- Ensure everyone coming is familiar with the rules and etiquette of golf.
- Check that players dress correctly on and off the course and have the right equipment.
- Select your meals from the menu provided.
- Remember to work out the format and handicaps for the day.
- Don't forget the prizes. Discount is given to all societies when they shop at 'Shortwood Lodge'.
- Confirm the correct numbers 3 CLEAR DAYS prior to the date.
- You will be charged for this number of meals that have been booked if you increase them they will be charged accordingly.
- Please note that a round of 18 holes takes approximately 4 hours.
- The suggested interval between 4 balls is 8 minutes.
- Earliest start time for societies is 8am
